Phos Boss Phosphate Remover
This specialty maintenance product is proven to eliminate phosphates from fertilizers, rain, soaps, and other pollutants.

Phosphates are the key nutrient for algae, and if phosphate levels are too high, you will have a hard time keeping up with chlorine demand. Please have us check your pool for phosphates.

When using the product, keep the filter running. Disperse the proper amount of product by adding it slowly around the edge of the entire pool and in front of the return line.

Run the filtration system for at least 24 hours. Watch the filter pressure and clean or backwash as necessary. Have us test your pool for phosphates again.

Directions for Use
Weekly Maintenance if No Algae are Present: Use 2 fl. ounces of phosphate remover per 10,000 gallons weekly to maintain phosphate levels below 125 parts per billion. If algae are present, follow the initial high-phosphate treatment instructions below.

Initial High-Phosphate Treatment:
Clean or backwash the filter. Distribute the required amount of product across the surface of the pool. See dosage chart below. Run your filter system continuously for at least 24 hours. If filter pressure increases 10 PSI over normal, clean or backwash the filter. After 48 hours, test the phosphate level with a phosphate test kit approved for swimming pool use. If needed, reapply phosphate remover.

Note: It is normal for phosphate remover to cause cloudiness. Use Pool Basics Ultimate Water Clarifier to clear the pool water. The amount of phosphate remover to be used is determined by the amount of phosphates in your pool water and the capacity of your pool. For example, for a 5,000-gallon pool with 250 PPB phosphates, use 2 fl. oz. of phosphate remover.
