SPECIFICATIONS. Beautifully crafted 7 “Resin” top rails and large 7″ steel verticals. Manufactured for maximum durability, chemical resistance, and protection against solar rays.

STAR GALFIN GALVANIZATION PROTECTION. All steel parts of the BATTLESHIP are protected by the Star Galfin® process. A proprietary combination of zinc and aluminum coats all steel parts to give them superior corrosion resistance when compared to other similarly priced pools. This pool will not chip, fade, rust or peel and is designed to look as good ten years from now as it does today.

WALLS. Made from heavier copper bearing steel then industry standards for a stronger pool wall. BATTLESHIP walls are heavier than most other brands. Walls also have a special Poly-Lam™ coating and a baked-enamel finish.

SEMI OR FULLY IN GROUND. When other manufactures void the warranty with any more then a few inches of soil up against the pool, BATTLESHIP by THE MAKERS OF DOUGHBOY does not! Put the pool on the ground, into a hillside, partially or fully in-ground and your warranty remains the same.

Here are a few things to remember about burying the pool to up to a 24″deep Installation>

Any HII pools approved to be buried up to 24” while backfilling with dirt, must have a proper water diversion plan put in place. Water diversion plan means that ALL water, both topical and ground water are diverted away from the pool at all times. Any depth over the 24” requires the use of our “Below Grade Instructions” complete with the slurry mixture as described per instruction booklet. Pool collapse due to improper burial or unstable soil conditions is not covered under warranty. If there is any question regarding the stability of the soil to be used as backfill, HII’s Below Grade Instructions should be followed closely. Customer assumes all responsibility for proper installation.

Here are a few things to remember about Below Grade Installations>

1.) Any concrete decking MUST set directly onto the slurry mix. DO NOT place any sand base between concrete decking and slurry mix.

2.) Over dig should be 18″ wide

3.) Per instructions, top of slurry is 9″ below the top of the Top Rail

4.) Per Instructions, install drainage to divert any water (topical or ground water) away from pool. There should be NO way for water to build up around the outside of the pool.

5.) Slurry mix / If ordering from outside company, the slurry should be #3 slump (moisture) which will look VERY DRY. The slurry cannot be wet as it would be if you were installing a driveway or side walk or the slurry will push in the pool wall. Install the the #3 slump slurry in layers all the way around the pool. You must monitor the pool wall closely during the entire backfilling process to verify that the pool wall dose not indent. (Review the instructions carefully regarding backfilling)

6.) Do not use manufactured pool cove (where floor and pool wall meet) when recessing a pool into the ground. Use earth cove only.

7.) NEVER “BUILD UP” THE GROUND WHERE THE POOL IS TO BE INSTALLED. YOU MUST ALWAYS INSTALL THE ENTIRE POOL ON UNDISTURBED EARTH.
